Tempus Locum is a program that will help you manage information. It has many applications and you could think of it as your field assistant to be used in any environment where you want to keep track of your work, your travels and your engagement.
You can record all sorts of data including GPS coordinates (shown in any of 3 grid systems), photos, audio recordings, notes, and labelled samples that you have collected. (labels with barcodes can be created in several formats).
All this will help you keep track of where you’ve been, what you’ve done and what you’ve found. The information can then be downloaded for you to use in reports, travelogues, books and projects, but don’t forget to use the backup system to ensure that your precious work is not lost.
