The sample editor presents the details of a single sample. You can specify the sample type by typing text and/or selecting a name from the drop-down list. The location of the sample is derived from the associated field entry.
The options menu (which is usually found at the top right of your screen or via a dedicated button) also includes the Prepare Sample (
); option, which allows you to create subsamples (eg. for analysis) from this sample. The resulting subsamples will be linked to this sample as well as its parent, grand-parent etc.
You can also record text, images and audio which will be associated with this sample.
As usual, clicking on an item will allow you to edit it, and you can also long-press items to see more options.
